Description of Research Group:For many years, the Institute of Unmanned Swarm Systems has conducted extensive research in areas including distributed collaboration and optimized control for intelligent unmanned swarm systems, multi-swarm game confrontation and intelligent decision-making in complex networks, distributed learning and game theory in multi-agent systems, and intelligent decision control in complex systems engineering. The institute focuses on complex learning and control challenges across military, aviation, transportation, and general industrial systems, with systematic and in-depth research spanning distributed learning and optimization in multi-agent systems, distributed control, distributed games, multi-agent reinforcement learning, large-scale swarm confrontation, distributed control of unmanned systems, coordinated control and optimization in power systems, fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of complex systems, industrial process control and optimization, and the design of swarm-based unmanned systems.

The institute has led over ten national science and technology projects and National Natural Science Foundation projects and has published over 300 papers in leading international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and Automatica. Additionally, it has authored multiple books on aircraft design and optimization. The team consists of six faculty members (including two professors and three associate professors) and over thirty graduate students, forming a well-structured, dynamic research group with complementary expertise.
