Wenfei Mao, associate professor and Master's Supervisor at Central South University, Changsha, China. He received the B.S. and master’s degrees from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2011 and 2015, and the Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2020. From August 2020 to February 2023, he worked as a post doctor in the School of Surveying and Mapping Science & Technology, Central South University. His research interests include geohazard remote sensing and remote sensing rock mechanics (RSRM). His research focuses on multi-layer and multi-parameter anomaly mechanisms in earthquakes, remote sensing-rock mechanics, and passive microwave remote sensing theories. He has published over 10 papers in prestigious journals such as JGR-Solid Earth, IEEE TGRS, NHESS, and Chinese Journal of Geophysics, with 2 national patents and 1 PCT patent granted. He leads numerous research projects funded by the National/Provincial Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and sub-projects of National Key R&D Programs |
