Xiaoguang Zhou

Xiaoguang Zhou is a professor at Central South University and a doctoral supervisor. She is mainly engaged in geographic information science and technology, spatio-temporal data modelling and updating, and research on spatio-temporal (crowdsourcing) data modelling, updating and services. She is also a member of China GIS Theory and Methods Working Committee/Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee/Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping Geographic National Condition Monitoring Committee, vice-chair of ISPRS WG IV/I 'Global Mapping for SDGs' (2022-2026), and editorial board member of Journal of Spatial-Temporal Information and other journals. She has led 20 scientific research projects, published more than 100 academic papers in International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Journal of Surveying and Mapping and other journals, obtained 13 national invention patents, published 2 monographs, 1 first prize of China's geographic information science and technology progress award, and trained nearly 100 postgraduate students.
