Dongyang Hou

Dongyang Hou, Associate Professor at Central South University, is a doctoral supervisor. He is mainly engaged in the research of spatio-temporal big data retrieval, mining and group intelligence updating. He is also a member of the Geographic Intelligence Monitoring Working Committee of Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, a member of the Youth Working Committee of Hunan Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the Youth Editorial Board of Journal of Spatial and Temporal Information. He has led 8 research projects, published more than 30 SCI papers and been granted 7 patents. His research results won the first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Surveying and Mapping of China Surveying and Mapping Society (Sequence 3) and the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Geographic Information Industry Association (Sequence 3). Besides, he won a number of excellent teachers of special/first prize in industry competitions, and the first prize of the 7th National Colleges and Universities GIS Young Teachers.
