Yan Bin is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Civil Engineering, Central South University, and serves as the deputy director of the Department of Railway Engineering. Born in November 1984 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, he earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Railway Engineering) from Central South University in 2007 and obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Bridge Engineering) in 2013. He has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects, two sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, two Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project, two provincial-level teaching reform projects, and 15 university-level teaching reform projects. He has published over 70 SCI and EI-indexed papers, holds three national invention patents and six utility model patents. Additionally, he has authored four textbooks and two monographs, published over 20 teaching reform papers, and received one national-level teaching achievement award, two provincial-level teaching achievement awards, and six university-level awards.
