Biyan Chen received the Ph.D. degree in geodesy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Geoscience and Info-Physics, Central South University, Changsha, China.
My research interests include global navigation satellite system (GNSS) meteorology, water vapor tomography, extreme weather forecasting, ionospheric modeling, and seismoionospheric anomalies. By integrating multi-disciplinary and multi-source data such as space-air remote sensing monitoring, space physics, meteorology, and GNSS positioning, We have built an ionosphere/troposphere modeling, monitoring, and application system under multi-source data integration, developed high-precision tomography methods, studied the characteristics of ionosphere disturbance changes under the influence of multiple factors, and revealed the evolution process and underlying mechanism of water vapor under global warming and extreme weather. I has published 60+ journal paper, published 1 monograph, and authorized 7 invention patents.
