Profile

I am currently serving as an assistant professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Central South University (CSU) in Changsha. Prior to my appointment at CSU, I held a postdoctoral position at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, between 2020 and 2022. I obtained my PhD degrees from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Radboud University in The Netherlands, respectively.

Research Interests:

My research focuses on key issues in Bayesian machine learning. This includes Gaussian processes and kernel methods, Bayesian multitask learning and meta-learning, automated machine learning and model compression, and multiple objective Bayesian optimization for blackbox models.

My work has led to the publication of a series of high-quality papers in prestigious journals and conferences in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence, such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS), Machine Learning (ML), Signal Processing, European Conference on Machine Learning (ECML), and The International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, & Signal Processing (ICASSP).
