Personal Information

Currently I am a lecturer in School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University (CSU), China. I obtained my doctor’s degree of Metallurgical Engineering from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB), China in 2017. After that I joined Brunel Centre for Advanced Solidification Technology (BCAST), UK and worked as a research fellow from 2017-2020. 

My research expertise is Quality control and process optimization in steel continuous casting process, multi-scale modelling of metal solidification process, machine learning and Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME). In the past several years, I have hosted one Research Fellowship project from EPSRC LiME, Brunel University London, UK. And I have also participated in several domestic research projects in China. To name a few, one 863 project from the government, one NSFC project and five application projects from domestic enterprises in steelmaking sector.

Following the accomplishment of the above research projects, I have published a series of academic papers in some well-known journals and participated several international conferences of metallurgical and materials engineering. Apart from that,  I have also obtained four Chinese invention patents, one software copyright and two domestic academic prizes.
