Fan Chaojie, Lecturer. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong and a PhD in Traffic and Transportation Engineering from Central South University.
His main research interests cover human factors engineering in rail transit and multimodal intelligent perception. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than ten academic papers in prestigious international journals including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics and Building & Environment, among which two papers are ranked in the top 1% highly cited papers of ESI.
He has been awarded numerous honors such as the National Railway Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, National Scholarship, the Second Prize for Innovative Technology of Science and Technology Progress Award issued by China Simulation Federation, and Annual Outstanding Student of Central South University. Two research achievements have been included in the Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Database of Railway Industry.
He presides over the Youth Program of Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation and enterprise collaborative research projects with China Academy of Railway Sciences, CRRC Group and other institutions. He also participates in key national R&D programs and key projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
In academic services, he serves as a member of the Human-Machine Engineering Committee of China Ergonomics Society and an IEEE Member. Additionally, he works as a peer reviewer for many authoritative international journals including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles.
