Personal Information
Congcong Fang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the High-Speed Train Research Center, School of Transportation Engineering, Central South University. His research interests include contact mechanics and tribology, multibody system dynamics, testing technology and signal processing. In recent years, his work has focused on bearing lubrication and dynamics of railway vehicles, wheel–rail interaction, intelligent simulation agents for vehicle systems, fault diagnosis and health monitoring, digital twin models, virtual simulation for autonomous driving, and robot tribology.
He has led or undertaken 2 national-level projects, 2 provincial/ministerial-level projects, 1 major municipal project in Changsha, and multiple industry-funded projects. He has published more than 40 papers in leading journals, holds 5 authorized patents, and has obtained 7 software copyrights. He currently serves as a member of the Youth Committee of the Tribology Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, an expert for science and technology programs in Hunan, Guangdong, and Changsha, and a young editorial board member of the Journal of Railway Science and Engineering.
