Research Focus

Personal Information

Prof. Feng is mainly engaged in clinical otology , early rehabilitation of deafness, and basic research on hereditary deafness. He has completed almost 1000 cases of Cochlear Implantations up to now. In 1996, Prof. Feng early carried out a series of researches on hereditary hearing loss in China; He take part in cloning the first deafness gene - GJB3 in China In 1998（Nature Genetics ,1998,20,370）.

Research Support: 20 scientific research subjects, 1 supported by the National Key Basic Research Program of China (973Program), 1 supported by the National HighTechnology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), 6 supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 supported by the Key Clinical Program of the Ministry of Health,etc.

Honors and Awards: the second prize of National Science-Technology Progress Award once, the second prize of Hunan Science and Technology Advancement Award twice, etc.
Publications: more than 100 articles at home and abroad, 16 for SCI.
