Huang Jufang, Ph. D. , is a researcher and professor of the department of Human Anatomy and Neurobiology of Central South University. She is currently the dean of the School of Life Sciences, the Executive Director of the Chinese Society of Anatomy, the Executive Director of the Hunan Provincial Society of Anatomy, the Executive Director of the Hunan Provincial Society of neuroscience, the deputy director of the Center for the study and protection of ancient corpses and cultural relics in Mawangdui, Hunan Province, and the executive director of the Hunan Provincial Association of Women Social Scientists. She is in charge of the project "research on key technologies for the protection of Ancient Corpse Cultural Relics" of the National Support Program, the project "construction and application demonstration of distributed human genetic resources database" of the state key research and development program, the project "research on biological samples and genetic health big data" of the Hunan key research and development program, and the technical innovation strategic alliance of the Hunan Human genetic resources industry. She is responsible for 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 10 other national, provincial and ministerial-level research projects. She is the deputy editor of the ninth edition of the textbook Human Anatomy and Physiology and the editorial board of the ninth edition of Systematic Anatomy . She is the editor-in-chief of Systematic Anatomy, published by China Medical Science and Technology Press; the deputy editor-in-chief of Practical Clinical Pancreatic Surgery which is published by Tianjin Science and Technology Literature Publishing House. Her master courses include Human Anatomy, Regional Anatomy, Neurobiology, Research Design and so on. She is responsible for the graduate program in Digital Medicine which combines basic medicine and clinical medicine and in Biology and Biobankology which is taught in English. Beyond that, she is the head of the undergraduate course of "Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Demonstration" and obtained four provincial-level and university-level educational reform projects. She has published 105 research papers; applied for 23 patents of various kinds, authorized 5 invention patents and 1 software Copyright. The research on Ancient Corpse Protection Technology in Mawangdui won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of Ministry of Education (2nd place) , and other scientific research works which she was involved also won four provincial and ministerial science and technology Achievement Award (2nd and 3rd prizes) . Her main research fields are the research on the mechanism of nerve injury and repair, the technology of human remains protection, and the construction of biological sample bank (human genetic resource bank) . In 2017, she was appointed as the speaker professor of "Tianshan scholars" of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. She has been engaged in the project management of NSFC for 14 years, and has accumulated a lot of experience in fund management and application writing.
