1968年生，教授，博士生导师。现任新型特种纤维及其复合材料湖南省重点实验室主任，高性能碳化硅纤维及其复合材料湖南省工程实验室主任；十三五装备发展部先进材料技术专业专家，2010年国家科技奖纺织材料组会评专家，湖南省普通高校电子材料学科带头人。发表学术论文和撰写报告近100篇，授权和申请发明专利20余项。长期从事特种纤维及结构-功能一体化复合材料多学科交叉研究，主要研究方向为高性能纤维材料、功能-结构一体化复合电磁材料与器件。
