Chunyan Hu is an professor, Ph.D supervisor of the Department of Administration, Central South University, Yuying talent, and vice president of Local Governing institute of Central South University, Central South University Institute of science and technology and Public Policy Research Center researcher. She taught in Xiamen University and CSU around the course of "Science and Technology Policy and Management", "Public Management classic Introduction," "Public Management Frontier Theory", "Public Administration English" (bilingual),“Civil Service",etc, for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Her current research interests lies in the accountability system, the civil service, public administration reform.She is currently working on 2 projects funded by National Natural Science in China. She has also finished many projects funded by Ministry of Education Humanities, Hunan Province Social Science and some collaborative projects. She published 2 scholarly monograph, one translating book, 4 textbooks. She has published articles in Chinese leading journals, including "Chinese Public Administration ", "Studies in Science of Science", , "Journal of Hunan University", "Administration and Reform”and other 20 academic journals .She also published articles in overseas journals, such as International Journals of Public Administration(JCR, second rank), Resource Policy(SSCI).
