Personal Information
Lei was born in October 1991. Lei obtained the doctor of engineering in 2018 and currently works at the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics, Central South University, as an associate professor and a master's degree supervisor. Lei does research in passive seismic monitoring and induced seismicity. His current research projects/topics include 'Efficient microseismic inversion of shale hydraulic fracturing' and 'Seismic forward modeling and source imaging of induced seismicity at multiple scales'. During the recent five years, he has hosted and participated in more than ten national and provincial research projects. He has participated in many international and domestic conferences such as the annual meeting of Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the European Association of Geologists and Engineers (EAGE). He published more than twenty journal papers and conference papers (in journals such as Reviews of Geophysics, Fuel, Geophysical Journal International, Computers and Geosciences, Geofluids). He has been granted one Chinese national patent.
