Personal Information
Chaoping Liang obtained his Bachelor, Master, and Ph. D in engineering in 2007, 2010 and 2013, respectively. From 2014 to 2017, he went to United States and conducted Postdoc research at University of Texas at Dallas. He has been awarded many prizes during his study including “Scholarship Award for Excellent Doctoral Student from Ministry of Education of China”, “Excellent Master Thesis Award for Master’s Degree of Hunan Province”, “Best Poster Award of International meeting”, etc. His research is committed to light-metal alloys, refractory-metal alloys, superalloys, novel energy storage materials, and 2D materials, and integrated computational and experimental materials research. He has published more than 150 original research articles in Nat. Commun, JACS, Angew Chem., Acta Mater., Scripta Mater., Appl. Phys. Lett., Mater Res Lett, Adv. Funct. Mater., gathered over 4800 citations and H-index of 38, developed several computational materials softwares,“Dcal.app”,“Debye Model”, “FindSym”, etc., and served as a reviewer of Nat. Commun, JACS, Adv. Mater. series (AM, AFM, AEM, AEnM), etc. Welcome international students (major in Engneering or Science related majors, like physics, chemistry, materials science, mechanical engneering, etc.) to apply for scholarship to pursuit master's and doctoral degrees (major in Materials Science and Engneering) at Powder Metallurgy Research Institute. Because our department is teaching course in Chinese, there is language requirement for scholarship application. Language Eligibility: Students who apply for Chinese-taught programs should obtain a minimum score of 260 in HSK4 for science and engineering programs.
