Personal Information

Personal Experience

    Jian Li, professor and doctoral supervisor of Central South University, is mainly engaged in the preparation and recycling of key materials and devices for lithium-ion power batteries. In the research field, he has won the second prize of Hunan Provincial Technological Invention Award, and he was rated as an excellent expert and 100-level talent in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Besides, he is an innovative expert with outstanding contributions in Changsha High-tech Industrial Development Zone who guided students to win the National Silver Award of the Second China Internet + Competition. The students he guided won the first prize of the Sixth National Failure Analysis Competition. He presided over and participated in 16 national, provincial and ministerial projects while more than 150 high-level papers and more than 80 invention patents have been published and authorized. He wrote two monographs. He is teaching many lessons in Central South University and trains more than 40 master's students and 11 doctoral students.

    His team consists of more than 30 members including professors, associate professors, lecturers, postdoctoral, doctoral and postgraduates from China, India, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria. Professor Li takes basic research as the starting point and focuses on the industrialization and transformation of technology. He makes the idea of "Transfomation of Technology" cross the design and development process of the entire project.

    Professor Li Also served as the editor of the academic journal Metal while he is a project review expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Science and Technology Award, the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province, the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province, the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province, the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, the Science and Technology Bureau of Changsha City, the Minmetals Group, and the Innovation Federation of Xiong'an New District. In addition, he also served as a member of the Standardization Management Committee of the Beijing Compulsory Recycling and Environmental Protection Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the expert member of the Expert Committee of the Battery Recycling and Reuse Branch of the China Industrial Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Association. He is also the main lecturer of the talent training base of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the Waste Battery Recycling Branch of the China Material Recycling Association.
