His research interests are focusing on geothermal energy utilization technology of new energy technology, preparation of high quality activated carbon, and techno-economics of renewable energy systems. Funded by national natural science foundation of China youth fund, Hunan province natural science foundation projects, Changsha energy development strategy and plan of action research. Participates in more than ten items of decision-making consultation issues such as horizontal topic. He has published one book, translated one book. Has published more than 60 articles.
