Dr. Xiaojie Liu is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at Central South University. She earned her master degree in 1997 and Ph.D in 2007. Since 1997, she has participated in 5 research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) .She published more than 20 academic papers in China Civil Engineering Journal, Journal of Building Structures, etc. As a participant, Dr. Liu won the the first-class Progress Award in Science and Technology of Hunan province in October 2007. The stable research domain she engaged in is theory and application of of steel-concrete composite structures. Dr.liu has ever been in the Pennsylvania State university in the United States as visiting scholar from July 2012 to August 2013. In 2019, she went to Monash university in Australia for one month's staff training.
