Grounded in applied mathematics and statistics, we study modeling and computational methods for complex data. Our work covers geometric modeling, approximation and shape analysis; representation learning and predictive model design for time series; and feature extraction, pattern discovery and uncertainty quantification for high-dimensional, non-stationary data. We care not only whether a model works, but why it works — pursuing mathematical interpretability and theoretical guarantees so that models remain verifiable and trustworthy in real-world deployment.
