Dr. Yange Li obtained her Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan. Currently, she holds the position of Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Project Management, Central South University. Her research focuses on the interdisciplinary fields of railway engineering, project management, and computer science. Dr. Li specializes in railway geohazard risk analysis and management, green design evaluation for railways, as well as railway remote sensing and geographic information systems.
With an impressive publication record, Dr. Li has authored more than 52 papers in esteemed international and domestic journals, including prominent publications like Water Research, Earth Surface Processes and Landforms, and Journal of Engineering Geology. Her research has garnered significant recognition, evidenced by numerous citations and an H-index of 15.
Dr. Li is an active member of renowned professional organizations, including the Japan Geotechnical Society (JGS), the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), and the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS). Additionally, she has served as a reviewer for prestigious international journals such as Engineering Geology, Natural Hazards and Earth System Sciences, and Journal of Mountain Science.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Li has successfully secured research funding from various sources, including national key R&D programs, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
