Mingming Lu, Ph.D., Associate Professor Advisor for doctoral candidates, completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies at Tongji University in Shanghai, Fudan University, and Florida Atlantic University in the United States, respectively. Admissions: Accepting doctoral and master's students (contact: mingminglu@csu.edu.cn). Graduate students joining the research group will, based on their foundations, engage in learning and discussions on basic courses such as Python data processing and introductory deep learning under the guidance of Professor Lu. After gaining a certain level of proficiency, students will participate in various practical projects for hands-on training under the guidance of senior students. The training will also include research-oriented activities such as paper reading, writing, and algorithm implementation through discussion sessions. Students in the research group typically receive various scholarships, and research allowances are provided based on project involvement and research contributions. Upon graduation, students from the research group often find employment in leading cities, major corporations, or the finance and banking sectors. Admission is limited, so prospective students are encouraged to contact via email promptly. Strong hands-on skills, self-discipline, and teamwork abilities are desired qualities. Research Focus: In recent years, the primary research has been on multimodal foundation model based agents and their applications in computer vision, intelligent agent simulation, intelligent transportation, etc. Additionally, novel artificial neural networks inspired by brain-like structures are explored. Over seventy high-quality academic papers have been published in domestic and international conferences and journals. A partial list of publications can be found at: https://dblp.org/pers/hd/l/Lu:Mingming https://www.semanticscholar.org/author/Mingming-Lu/2057267 https://deepai.org/profile/mingming-lu The researcher holds more than twenty patents. Research Projects: As the principal investigator, Professor Lu leads key subprojects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and various industry-sponsored projects, ensuring sufficient project funding. Application System Development: Combining research group achievements with industry big data (primarily in computer vision, large language models, and the finance industry), application systems that generate value and benefits across different fields are developed. Teaching: Professor Lu teaches courses such as deep learning, Python data processing programming, and swarm intelligence. He is also the editor of textbooks like "Internet of Things Programming" and "Introduction to Deep Learning and Practice."
