Dr. Jianfeng Mao is now the assistant professor in Civil Engineering school of Central South Unversity and is working in the National Engineering Laboratory for High Speed Railway Construction.
He is the backbone member of the stochastic dynamics research on the railway train-track-bridge (subgrade) coupling system in the national railway engineering laboratory. As a major member, he developed the general software for random vibration simulation and safety evaluation for railway train-track-bridge coupling system based on (generalized) probability density evolution theory (TBPROB).
He hosted and participated in a number of national-level projects, such as the China Post-Doctoral Fund (Grant No. 2017 M612592), the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) (Grant No. 51708558, 51578549),863 Program Project(Grant No. 2009AA11Z101), China Railway Corporation (the former Ministry of Railways) and the High-speed Rail Joint Fund, the international (regional) cooperation project (Grant No. 51820105014) and other aspect-oriented scientific research projects, et al.
He has published more than 10 academic papers, including 5 of SCI papper (all in JCR Q1/ Q2), 2 EI paper and 2 authorized invention patents. He gained distinction from the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Railway Institute (12/40,2017, titled: The study and application of the track-bridge structure of high-speed railway under the special-force-multi-dynamic effect), the excellent doctoral thesis of Hunan University (2016), the excellent doctoral thesis of the Central South University(2016), and the outstanding graduates of Hunan Province(2017), The outstanding member of the Central South University (2009-2011), and so on.
His research mainly focus on the stochastic dynamic theory and engineering application of the high-speed (heavy haul) railway train-track-bridge system under the action of the multi-power source, the coupling stochastic dynamics of the high-speed maglev train-bridge system, the magnetic track interaction and the fluid-solid coupling interaction.
