Dr. Shuang Meng holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and currently serves as a Lecturer at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University. His research primarily focuses on train aerodynamics and Cartesian grid fluid simulation methods. As the first or corresponding author, he has published 15 papers in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Applied Energy, Building and Environment, Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics, and Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology. He has been granted 8 national invention patents and has applied for 2 software copyrights. He currently leads the young scientists fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (category C) and a sub-project of the NSFC joint fund. He has also participated in several other NSFC projects as a key researcher. Furthermore, he is a recipient of the outstanding doctoral dissertation award of Hunan province.
