Personal Information

Dr. Rulin Shen, associate professor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Central South University. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the United States. His research focuses on self-healing composite materials, intelligent flexible sensors, machine vision and deep learning, mechanical interface science and tribology, as well as collaborative manufacturing of materials forming and shape. He has led or participated in several national natural science foundation projects, national 973 sub-projects, Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, and other national/provincial-level cooperative projects, as well as corporate collaborative research projects. He has published over 50 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, authored 1 monograph, and holds multiple patents. He serves as a reviewer for journals including Expert Systems with Applications, Journal of Energy Resources Technology, Energy Engineering, Frontiers in Materials, and Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures.
