Key Members of the Team of "Rail Transit Safety Collaborative Innovation Center" of the National 2011 Plan, Key Members of Innovation Team of Ministry of Education of "Service Safety of High-speed Railway Engineering Structures", Key Members of the Strategic Pilot Plan of Central South University, Second Leader of Durability Innovation Team of Civil Engineering College. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of structural engineering and bridge engineering for a long time. The main courses include: Structural Testing, Basic Principles of Steel Structures, and Building Steel Structures, Architectural Structure and Type Selection. The main research directions include: Fatigue and durability of building and bridge structures under coupled load and environment, Time-dependent Performance and State Assessment of Ballastless Track-Bridge Structural System of High-speed Railway, Evaluation and strengthening technology of Heavy Haul Railway Bridges, Fabricated building and construction industrialization.
To guide undergraduates to obtain 7 excellent graduation designs from Central South University and 1 innovative training for undergraduates. Published more than 50 scientific research papers; won 25 national patents; participated in the compilation of one national industry standard; won the first prize for scientific and technological progress in Hunan Province, and grand prize for scientific and technological progress in railways. He presided over and participated in more than 20 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and key projects, 863 project and the Ministry of Railways major key projects.
