Jianjun Wang holds a PhD in Engineering and is a master's supervisor at the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering, Central South University. His main research interests include the separation of minerals such as tungsten, tin, bauxite, fluorite, graphite, copper, lead, zinc, gold, and silver, reagent desorption and reuse, wastewater treatment, and comprehensive utilization of tailings/slag. He has led over 20 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, special topics of the National Major Science and Technology Projects, the Open Fund of the State Key Laboratory of Mineral Processing Science and Technology, and school-enterprise cooperation projects. As the first/corresponding author, he has published 18 high-level SCI papers in authoritative international journals such as the International Journal of Mining Science and Technology, Journal of Cleaner Production, Applied Surface Science, and Minerals Engineering, and has been granted 15 invention patents. He serves as a guest editor for the SCI journals Minerals, Metals, and Frontiers in Materials, and a reviewer for internationally authoritative journals such as Minerals Engineering and Applied Surface Science so on. He has received one first prize, two second prizes, and one first prize for green mine technology progress from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Awards.
