    王建秀,男,教育部新世纪优秀人才,中南大学二级教授。北京大学博士、中国科学院博士后、加州州立大学洛杉矶分校访问学者。2003年被聘为中南大学化学化工学院教授,2005年起任分析化学学科博士生导师,入选中南大学531人才计划第二层次。曾任化学化工学院分析科学系主任。2005年入选中南大学首批“升华学者计划”特聘教授,2009年度入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。研究方向为生物传感器研发、联用仪器的开发以及重大疾病致病机理研究。在Anal. Chem., ACS Sensors, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Materials Horizons 等国际知名刊物上发表SCI论文110余篇,被SCI引用3700余次, 引用次数在100次以上的有7篇,单篇最高引用930余次(在1998-2007年间国内累计被引200次以上的化学类国际论文中排名第四; 在2004年Science Watch (July/August)上的Top Ten中排名第二)(来自google scholar)。应邀为国际知名出版社John Wiley & Sons, Inc., American Chemical Society等撰写书籍的章节4部。以第一发明人身份授权国家发明专利9项。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家自然科学基金外国青年学者研究基金、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”项目、教育部博士点基金项目、教育部留学回国人员启动基金以及横向项目等15项。荣获湖南省自然科学二等奖一项、三等奖一项(均排名第一)、教育部自然科学二等奖(排名第四)、以及湖南省第十三届、第十五届自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖(均排名第一)。
