Research on Green Low-Carbon Recycled Concrete Based on the Resource Utilization of Local Materials

Facing the strategic demand for carbon reduction and solid waste resource utilization in the field of civil engineering, this research direction focuses on using locally characteristic materials (such as volcanic ash materials, tunnel muck, discarded concrete sleepers, etc.) to produce high-performance recycled cementitious materials and concrete. It systematically analyzes the multi-scale physicochemical properties and activation mechanisms of volcanic ash materials, waste concrete micro-powder, and aggregates, revealing the reconstruction patterns of silicate and aluminate phases in multi-source solid waste and the rehydration kinetics under the coupled effect of thermal activation and chemical stimulation. The study delves into the interfacial compatibility, ion competitive adsorption, and synergistic hydration effects of recycled components and local materials in multi-component systems, establishing a mix design theory and performance regulation method for recycled concrete based on the "genetic" characteristics of the local materials, achieving high-value utilization of all components from tunnel muck and discarded sleepers to new low-carbon cementitious materials, and providing green building material solutions for regional infrastructure construction.
