博士,教授,博士生导师,湖南省芙蓉计划高层次人才“百人计划”青年学者。隶属国家杰青刘咏教授团队。
2014年博士答辩获得德国拉丁文学位最高荣誉等级Summa Cum Laude;2015年获Helmholtz联合会博士后项目奖(240万RMB/3年);2016年作为Helmholtz联合会代表参加第66届 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting(林道诺贝尔奖得主大会);2020年入选湖南省“百人计划”青年项目;2023年获批中南大学创新驱动项目。 于2008年9月和2010年12月分别以本科和硕士学历毕业于中南大学粉末冶金研究院,导师为刘咏教授和黄伯云院士;2011年1月至2014年5月在德国Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht材料研究所攻读博士学位,导师为Florian Pyczak教授 随后就职于Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht材料物理部门;2020年4月就职于中南大学粉末冶金究院,负责粉末冶金国家重点实验室球差校正电镜Spectra 300的购置、安装、调试与管理工作。
主要从事高温金属结构材料、金刚石复合材料的成分设计及微观组织结构与性能表征,近五年以第一作者或者通讯作者在Acta Materialia,Scripta Materialia等国际知名期刊发表学术论文50余篇,授权发明专利4项,受邀参加26次国际学术议,做特邀报告5次,口头报告12次,作为分会主席主持1次国际学术会议,组织1次国内学术会议。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目,湖南省自然科学基金面上、青年项目,湖南省教育厅科学研究优秀青年项目,中南大学创新驱动青年人才项目,粉末冶金国家重点实验室自主课题,德国Helmholtz协会博士后项目等项目。
团队长期招收高温金属结构材料、金刚石复合材料和球差校正透射电镜表征专业相关的研究生,并与德国Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon研究所有联合培养学生计划。如对高温金属结构材料、金刚石复合材料、透射电镜技术、利用先进透射电镜技术解决先进材料研发与应用中的科学问题等方面的研究感兴趣的同学欢迎联系报考。

Li Wang, Doctoral supervisor and Professor at Central South University.
She received her Ph.D. in Germany in 2014 with the distinction Summa Cum Laude. In 2015, she was awarded the Helmholtz Association Postdoctoral Fellowship (3000,000 Euro for 3 years). In 2016, she was selected as a Helmholtz Association representative to attend the 66th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. She was named a Young Scholar under the Hunan Provincial“Hundred Talents Program”in 2020 and in 2023 received the Innovation-Driven Project of Central South University.
She obtained her bachelor degree (Sept 2008) and master degree (Dec 2010) from the Powder Metallurgy Research Institute at Central South University, under the supervision of Prof. Yong Liu. From Jan 2011 to May 2014, she pursued her Ph.D. at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Florian Pyczak, and subsequently worked in the Department of Materials Physics. Since 2020, she works at Central South University, where she oversees the installation and management of the aberration-corrected TEM Spectra 300 at the State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy.
Her research focused on the composition design, microstructural characterization, and property evaluation of high-temperature metallic structural materials and diamond-based composites. She has published over 50 papers as first or corresponding author in international journals, including Acta Materialia and Scripta Materialia. She has been invited to 26 international conferences, where she has delivered five invited talks and 12 oral presentations. She has led numerous research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General and Young Scientists Programs), the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation (General and Young Scientists Programs), and the Outstanding Young Project of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education.
Her research group actively recruits graduate students in high-temperature metallic structural materials, diamond composites, and aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy. A joint training program with Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon (Germany) is also available. Students interested in high-temperature structural materials, diamond composites, or the application of advanced TEM techniques to address key scientific challenges in advanced materials research are encouraged to apply.
