Wang, Liping

Dr. Wang is an associate professor in the school of civil engineering, Central South University, China. She obtained her PhD from the University of Hong Kong in 2015 and Master’s degree from Tongji University in 2011. She is the Principal Investigator of two national projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China and National Key R&D Plan of China, respectively. She is also a key member of the “Engineering Technology Research Center for Prefabricated Construction Industrialization of Hunan Province” and a member of the “Professional committee on light steel structures in China”.
She has published over 20 papers in the international journals (SCI indexed) including Thin-Walled Structures, Journal of Structural Engineering-ASCE, Steel and Composite Structures, Journal of Constructional Steel Research. She has close collaboration with worldwide scholars from Hong Kong, America, UK, Australia, Malaysia, etc.
Her research interests include stability of steel structures, cold-formed steel structures, concrete-filled steel tubular members, prefabricated and modular building systems.
