A LFGPE system simultaneously achieves fast ion transport across electrolyte and interface, inorganic-rich SEI, and, especially, accelerated Li+ desolvation, benefitted from competitive Li+ coordination between PO2F2− and PDOL, and formation of Li3PO4 species in the SEI. This work offers insights and strategies for the design of low-temperature and fast-charging GPEs.
