Donor-Π-Acceptor Self-adaptive Conjugated Perylene Derivative with Low Solubility, High Capacity, and Swift Ion Transport Kinetics for High performance Organic Cathode

The perylene derivative (DPL), encapsulated within a hollow nanocage terminated with radical PO polymer molecules bearing N-O radicals, has been conceptualized and designed to showcase high efficiency in potassium storage. This is attributed to the smart construction of helically twisted D-Π-A self-adaptive coordination conjugate (TSCC). This design yields exceptional fast-charging and long durable stability based on the small organic molecules.
