
Dr.-Ing. Wu Hao is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University, holding a doctoral degree in Engineering. He received his Master's degree from the Technical University of Berlin in August 2022, followed by his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich in December 2025. His doctoral research was supervised by Prof. Constantinos Antoniou (Co-Editor-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice), an internationally renowned transportation scholar, and his Master's research was supervised by Prof. Kai Nagel (lead author of the multi-agent transport simulation framework MATSim), a leading scholar in the field of transport simulation. Upon joining Central South University, Dr. Wu became a member of the Smart Transportation Key Laboratory of Hunan Province, directed by Prof. Huang Helai (Editor-in-Chief of Accident Analysis & Prevention). His current research interests focus on Advanced Air Mobility (Urban Air Mobility/low-altitude economy) system design and optimization, multi-agent transport simulation, travel behavior analysis, and synthetic population generation based on Generative AI.
