Dr. Hao Wu is currently an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University. He received his Ph.D. degree in December 2025 from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where he was supervised by Prof. Constantinos Antoniou, a globally renowned traffic scholar and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice. Upon joining Central South University, Dr. Wu became a member of the Smart Transportation Key Laboratory of Hunan Province, directed by Prof. Huang Helai (Editor-in-Chief of Accident Analysis & Prevention). His current research interests focus on Advanced Air Mobility (Urban Air Mobility/low-altitude economy) system design and optimization, multi-agent transport simulation, travel behavior analysis, and synthetic population generation based on Generative AI.
