Personal Information
Shengxi Wu, male, born in February 1991 in sanming, Fujian (province),China. Now, working as a Lecturer in School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University.I graduated from Beijing General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals(advisor: Dr. Huang Xiao-wei,Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering) and Beijing University of Science and Technology (Joint Training, advisor: Dr. Zhang Lifeng) in January 2019. From 03/2016 to 04/2017, he was sent by the China Scholarship Council to University of Florida (advisor: Dr. Brij Moudgil) and Florida Industrial and Phosphate Research Institute(advisor: Dr. Patrick Zhang) for a one-year Joint Training. In 05/2018, I was invited by Dr. Patrick Zhang, the president of the Benificiation of Phosphate Conference, to attend the Benificiation of Phosphate VIII(Cape Town, South Africa, meeting expenses covered by the President's funds) and gave a presentation about rare earths recovery from phosphate rocks. At present, my main research interests are the hydrometallurgy of rare metals including rare earth elements, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, etc., and the metal recycling of secondary resource, collaborative solvent extraction technology and membrane separation technology in metallurgy.
I have applied for 12 patents, with 5 authorized ones, published 6 SCI papers,with 5 first authorship ones. As a core member, I have participated in 7 projects, these projects were funded by the US Department of Energy (CMI), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Youth Fund, General Fund, Key Fund and Enterprises.
