Wu Xianjin, Ph.D., associate professor. Main research interests include image processing, industrial automation system technology and devices.
Currently, he is engaged in the teaching of the basic courses of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Electrical and Electronic Basic Teaching Center of Automation College.
Over the years, he has lectured five theoretical courses, including Electronic Technology A, Electronic Technology B, Electrotechnics A, Electrotechnics B and Electrotechnics, and directed three practical courses and series of experiments of Electrotechnics and Electronics, including Electrical and Electronics Practice A, Electrotechnics and Electronics Practice B, and Electronic Technology Course Design.
Teaching methods are emphasized. The results of online teaching evaluation organized by undergraduate colleges rank in the top 20% of the college for many times.
From 2013 to 2018, he won four awards for excellence in undergraduate teaching quality, one award for excellent teachers of Huawei Award, one second-class award for teaching achievements, and two second-class awards for college-level teaching competitions.Guiding students to participate in the National Electronic Design Competition once won the National Second Prize and once won the first prize in Hunan Provincial Competition Area.
Editor-in-chief of one textbook, one textbook, and participate in the edition of "Electrotechnics (multi-school hours)" won the first prize of the National Excellent Textbook of Electronic Information of China in 2016. Presided over two school-level educational reform projects, participated in six school-level educational reform projects, published seven educational reform papers and five scientific research papers, participated in one project of the National Natural Science Foundation, and applied for one patent cooperatively.
