向娟，女，中南大学化学化工学院教授，博士生导师。主要从事纳米电化学、光谱电化学和表面化学的研究工作。2007年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才，2009年获得湖南省杰出青年基金。在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Anal. Chem.、 Inorg. Chem.、J. Phys. Chem. C等国际高水平学术刊物上发表论文80余篇，并被Science、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.等杂志多次引用，参与撰写书籍2部。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目4项，863子课题1项，省部级项目7项。参与973、教育部重大项目培育基金项目等国家及省部级项目4项。
