肖代红, 工学博士，教授，博士研究生导师。从事高性能轻质金属材料的设计-塑性成形-组织性能协同调控、中/高熵合金设计与调控、激光粉末床熔融制备新材料等研究。国家重大项目首席负责人。在Journal of Materials Science & Technology、Materials and Design、Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A、Journal of Alloys and Compounds、Materials Science and Engineering A等国内外知名刊物上发表论文80余篇，获得授权国家发明专利30项。1人次获中南大学校长奖学金，1人次获中南大学优秀硕士学位论文，6人次获国家级研究生奖学金，3人次获中南大学优秀毕业研究生称号。
