Dr. Dan Xu, Associate Professor, School of Energy Science and Engineering, Central South University, China.
He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Central South University and his Ph.D. from the University of
New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
His research interests include:
Mechanism Investigation and Behavior Control of Particle Flow Process
Numerical Modeling of Multi-scale, Multi-field, and Multiphase Reactive Flow
Design and Optimization of Particle Flow Processes in Industrial Applications
He has published multiple SCI papers in international academic journals, including Chemical Engineering Journal, Physics of
Fluids, Chemical Engineering Science, Fuel, Powder Technology, and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters. He holds
several invention patents and has received prestigious honors such as the National Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students
Abroad and the Dean's Award for Outstanding PhD Theses.
