We are a research group in the Department of Geomatics at Central South University (CSU). Our research primarily focuses on the use of space geodetic data (e.g. InSAR and GPS) and land surveying techniques to study ground deformation associated with a variety of geophysical and anthropogenic processes. We are especially interested in the study of earthquake cycle deformation, volcanoes, land subsidence, and Geohazards.
We are always looking for prospective Postdoc, Ph.D. or M.S. students, interns, and research assistants to work with.
Applicants should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in geophysics, geology, math, computer science, physics, engineering, or a closely related field. Applicants with prior experience in computer programming, remote sensing, volcanology or seismology are particularly encouraged to apply.
