Community-based primary prevention interventions for cardiovascular diseases (2026–Present)
This research direction focuses on community-based primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Leveraging multi-timepoint follow-up data from the National Basic Public Health Service annual health
examinations for older adults (Chinese Clinical Trial Registry: ChiCTR2600130057), combined with disease
risk assessment technologies, this study aims to characterize the distribution patterns and long-term
trajectories of cardiovascular disease risk in community populations. On this basis, targeting key
preventive measures such as salt and oil reduction and increased physical activity, the study seeks to
identify optimal implementation approaches and intervention strategies at the primary care community
level, thereby developing evidence-based prevention and control protocols that are scalable and
practicable for real-world implementation.
