Personal Information
Yu Deming graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1997 with a Ph.D. in Safety Engineering. From August 2005 to August 2006, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council and went to the University of Nottingham as a visiting scholar. He is currently a professor of engineering at the School of Civil Engineering of Central South University, a doctoral tutor, and a national registered safety assessor and registered safety engineer. He has mainly engaged in teaching and research work in risk management of construction projects.
Yu Deming has undertaken over ten research projects, such as "the theory and practice of railway engineering project management", "Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail quality management system and risk control technology", "China Railway 'going out' risk management research", "high-speed railway project construction management", "high-speed railway geography economic theory research and empirical analysis " . He has published ten monographs and textbooks , such as "Quantitative risk analysis of storage and transportation process of flammable, explosive and toxic dangerous goods", "Construction claim", "Construction project management", "International project bidding and contract management" and "engineering megaproject risk management". He has published more than 30 papers.
