Abstract:Linear view of history is one of the characteristics of modernity, when modernity becomes a local narrative of the ultimate goal, linear historical view to be in rural narrative in fully reflected, is intended to express a desire for local Modernity.But with the process of modernization for the local variety of damage, in the post modern context, a cyclic history view and return in rural narrative, the historical view of samsara indicates the Chinese intellectuals of modern hesitate mentality, also shows that the complexity and tortuousness of modern China.
