Abstract:The eighth Mao Dun Literature Award for the first time to accept the network literature, the final results of network literature are frustrated. The Mao Dun prize in literature is the incorporation of network literature to mass culture art of compromise, which is a balanced strategy. And all the network literature are out, which reflects the system of self-entertainment in academic circle and is a way to confirm the authority of traditional literature in the system. Incompatibility of traditional literature and network literature is a true portrayal.
