I am interesting in mineralogy, economic geology,geochemistry of ore deposits,especially trace element geochemistry in economic geology, and try to understanding the origin of various mineral deposits and related aspects using trace element geochemistry of various minerals. 

At present, I am responsible for LA ICPMS laboratory and related equipments works at Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education of Non ferrous Metals and Environmental monitoring.A Teledyne phosphor ARF 193nm He laser coupled two Jena Analytik plasmaquant MS Ellite in our LA ICPMS lab. It can be used for U-Pb dating of zircon, apatite, monazite, sphene, cassiterite and rutile, as well as trace element composition of various sulfides (pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, etc.) and rock-forming minerals (quartz, feldspar, biotite, hornblende, pyroxene, etc.), ore-forming minerals (hematite, magnetite, garnet, apatite, calcite, etc.). In addition, the laboratory of LA ICPMS is equipped with the basic tools of grinding and Epoxy making, which can process samples by itself (sample sending is not acceptable); it is also equipped with OM-CL (Optical Microscopy-Cathoduluminecence) and microscope( Zeiss A1 Scopy) (Geoscience building 117), which can be used for the observation and photographing of mineral cathodoluminescence of all kinds of slice.
