Personal Information

Hang Zhang received the B.S. degree in Automation from Nanjing University of Chemical Technology (Now Nanjing University of Technology), Nanjing, China, in 1988; the M.S. degree and the Ph.D degree in Information engineering and Control from School of Information Science and Engineering at Central South University, Changsha, China, respectively in 2002 and 2006. From 1988 to 1998, he was a product design engineer and the director of the design department at the Institute of the Latex Industry, Zhuzhou, China. Since he joined the Central South University in 2002, he has been an associate professor and director of graduate studies in School of Information Science and Engineering and School of automation in CSU.
His current research interests include quantum information processing, intelligent control, image processing, advanced controls and their applications in intelligent transportation systems and industries. He has received a number of awards and published a number of papers in his areas of expertise.
