Zhang Yu, MD, Ph D, Professor, Chief physician, Vice director of Dep. of Obstetric & Gynecology, Xiangya Hospital, CSU. Prof. Zhang earned her Bachelor degree in Medicine from Hunan Medical University in 1994, Master degree in Hunan Medical University in 1997 and MD & Ph D in The Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in 2005. She was a Postdoctoral researcher in Biochemical and Molecular Biology of Indiana University School of Medicine from 2008-2010. Prof. Zhang has been engaged in clinical work and scientific research for more than 20 years. She is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological tumors such as cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer and gestational trophoblastic disease. She mainly does clinical researches in the tumorigenesis of gynecological cancer and biomakers for cancer screening and prognosis. She also studies female reproductive tract infection and personalized medicine. Prof. Zhang has hosted or participated in several projects from Natural Science Foundation of China and published more than 10 SCI papers.
