Personal Information

ZHENG Renji received his Ph.D degree in mineral engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. GAO Huimin. His research focuses on: (1) structure-activity relationship between mineral lattice defects and flotation behavior; (2) high-value utilization of mineral-based solid waste resources; (3) density functional theory studies of the activation/transformation of small molecules based on semiconducting minerals, etc. Dr. ZHENG has hosted/participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund Project, Guangdong Youth Fund Project, Shenzhen Basic Research General Project, etc. He has published more than 40 SCI papers in journals such as Nat. Commun., Adv. Funct. Mater., Miner. Eng., Nano Lett., Chem. Eng. J., J. Hazard. Mater., J. Mater. Chem. A, ACS Appl. Mater. Inter., Appl. Surf. Sci., J. Alloy. Compd., etc. He is currently invited as a guest editor for the international journal Minerals, and a reviewer for journals such as Miner. Eng., Opt. Mater. and Physicochem. Probl. Mi.
