Professor Zheng got a PhD in pediatrics in 2002, and she is currently the director of the pediatric respiratory and comprehensive subspecialty department of Xiangya Hospital. Professor Zheng was funded by the state council for study abroad from 2008 to 2009 as a visiting scientist at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. In 2012, she was appointed as a doctoral tutor by Central South University. In 2013, she was awarded the Yutong Zheng Scholarship of the University of Hong Kong and went to the department of adolescent and pediatrics of the Queen Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong for clinical training. In 2014, she was selected as the 225 Talent Project of Hunan Province and 531 Talent Project of Central South University, and was promoted to chief physician in the same period.
Professor Zheng is working for 20 years on pediatric medical treatment, education and scientific research. She is skilled in respiratory, immune and critical diseases of pediatric. Dr.Zheng and her team have professional clinical experience in the prevention and treatment of children's respiratory diseases, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of children's bronchial asthma, chronic cough, refractory wheezing, repeated respiratory tract infections, allergic diseases and immune defects and disorders. In recent years, she has hosted 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects and published more than 30 research papers in authoritative journals at home and abroad. Professor Zheng's work won the third prize of Hunan Province Science Progress and the second prize of Hunan Province Natural Science.
