Personal InformationProf. Huaming Yang, from Shaoxin (Zhejiang Province), is supported by National Nature Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar. Winner of Program for New Century Excellent Talents supported by Ministry of Education and 121 Talents Project of Hunan Province in the new century. Served as doctoral tutor, department head of both Inorganic Materials and Mineral Materials Research Centre besides Prestigious Teacher of Central South University. Received his Bachelor, Master and PhD degree in 1990, 1993 and 1998 respectively. Served as Visiting Scholar at Bristol University and Russian Academy of Science, Senior Research Scholar at The University of Queensland once. Long been engaged in the work of resource fine processing, mineral materials, inorganic functional materials and research on micro and nano materials. Principal investigator of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 863 Program, Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China, 973 Program (sub project), Key Project of Chinese Ministry of Education and so on. Published more than 80 papers in SCI journals such as Scientific Reports (Nature Group), J. Mater. Chem., J. Phys. Chem., Clay Clay Miner., Am. Mineral., with the other-citing over 800 times. Have more than 20 pieces of national patents and 3 works. Won the first prize, second prize of Provincial and Ministerial Technology Award and the first prize of Outstanding Book Award for 2, 2 and 1 times respectively as principal investigator. Obtained awards of Hunan Province Outstanding Doctoral Thesis, Youth Science and Technology Award of Chinese Ceramic Society and Chen Xinmin Fund for Outstanding Young Teacher. 4 graduates obtained Outstanding Thesis of Hunan Province under the guidance.
